WHO ARE WE?
We are a group of final year students from York St John University studying Drama and Theatre and Drama, Education and Community. Together we have created the Talking Tree Project as part of our final project.
Jack Roddis
Jack loves writing and performing, especially pantomime-Oh Yes he Does! He loves Disney films, his absolute favourite being  Alice in Wonderland.  His earliest nature memory is building dens from sticks with his friends near his home in Rotherham.
Jane Corbett
Jane loves being outdoors and has recently performed alongside a tree (But not a Saint Nicks tree!)  She loves walking her dog, Maud, and eating black midget gems! Her earliest nature memory is making a tiny garden on a plate from nature for a village show complete with miniature pond.
Ellen Cook
Ellen has the voice of a song thrush and loves to sing and perform. She was once a Princess! Her earliest nature memory is naming palm trees in Spain when she was on holiday and going back every year to see how Pete, Pedro and his friends were growing!
Maia McConnell
Maia grew up in the Oxfordshire countryside and her earliest memory of being in nature was a school trip to the local woodland when it was covered in fresh, deep snow! Maia's favourite bug is a ladybird, but she also loves the buzzing bees!
